The Greasers are a small band of raiders in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281.
Background
The Greasers are a small-time gang of thugs who have recently moved into the north sewers beneath Westside and North Vegas Square to escape the dangers of the wasteland and the Fiends, who they have lost many members to.[1][Non-game 1] As a result, the Greasers have begun terrorizing the citizens sharing the space, much to the dismay of Crandon, North Vegas' de facto leader.[2]
The Greasers' harrassment is starting to anger the locals, which could possibly result in a mob forming to wipe out the gang unless the thugs leave.[3] Until then, the gang is still not too much of a problem given that they are relatively low in size and firepower, but Crandon would still prefer for them to be dealt with, one way or another.[2] There are four members of the gang; three generic gang members, usually carrying a bat or pool cue, and their leader, Greasy Johnny, who is armed with a decent energy weapon or a caravan shotgun.
Interactions with the player character
- Someone to Watch Over Me: Crandon can hire the Courier to get rid of the Greasers, either non-violently or by killing them. The gang does not appear until reaching the relevant stage of this quest.

- ↑ Fallout: New Vegas Prima Official Game Guide p. 44: "Further north, are two much more pitiful gangs, who have lost their brethren (both in violence, or by recruitment) to the Fiends; the stinking Greaser Gang who terrorize the North Vegas Sewers, and the Scorpion Gang, who fight intermittent skirmishes with Westside residents. All these Raiders have no driving purpose or goal, other than to live to see tomorrow and raise as much hell as possible today."
