When the Vault Dweller asks Butch Harris of the Far Go Traders in the Hub about the Maltese Falcon, he mentions a singer there named Hope. However, this woman cannot be found in-game.

According to Scott Campbell, one of the original designers for Fallout, Hope was supposed to be a singer at the Maltese Falcon who was supposed to have some adventure seeds with the Hub underworld. She was cut from the game.
