After restoring order by finishing the quest My Kind of Town, she and her husband return to their home inside the Mojave Express building. Afterward, she can be found walking outside or inside the Vikki and Vance smoking a cigarette by the slot machines.
If one has only four radscorpion poison glands in the inventory and takes them to Ruby, the dialogue option will state "I have a bunch of radscorpion glands." If chosen, the four radscorpion poison glands will be removed but in return, five of Ruby's casseroles will be obtained.
Killing this character will not affect Karma, but killing her husband will result in a loss of Karma.
When entering Primm with Cass as a companion, she may mention the Nash couple having a son who moved out west.[2]

Ruby may ONLY be recruited if Farber has indicated there is a supply problem but the player has NOT selected the dialogue option, "Can anything be done to improve your supplies?" The same is true of Fitz. [verified]
On PC, a workaround is to type set VFreeformMcCarran.iMessHallStatus to 2 in the console before talking to Ruby Nash and/or Fitz.
