Sun is a very accomplished doctor who provides medical treatment such as purging radiation, restoring health, and addiction rehabilitation. He has been working as a doctor with Doc Crocker for a decade,[1] but doesn't consider him a very competent doctor.[2] Sun also sells medical supplies and can provide facial reconstruction surgery in place of Doc Crocker for 100 caps, but considers it to not be real medicine.[3] He lives directly next to his business.

This character is essential. Essential characters cannot be killed.
After completing The Disappearing Act, he can be found inside the Mega Surgery Center. The entrance is between where he used to be and Solomon's Chem-I-Care.
Other interactions
If the player character has Curie as a companion, she may approach him and ask which university he graduated from. Doctor Sun will then laugh at her and ask if she is serious.
Doctor Sun is voiced by actor James Sie, whose work includes frequent voice doubling for Jackie Chan. Sie also voiced Jun Long in Fallout 4.
In localized versions of the game, Sun's voice is dubbed by Soichi Abe in Japanese. Abe later provided the Japanese dub voice of Maximus in the Fallout TV series.

PCPlaystation 4Xbox One After completing The Disappearing Act and meeting Doctor Sun in the cellar, one can request facial reconstruction surgery but they will not be able to sit in the surgery chair. Sun does not receive payment for the first conversation. Talking to him again and paying him will make the chair usable.[verified]
