fallout

Goats are animals seen in the Fallout TV series.

Background

Goats have been successfully bred after the Great War in New California, such as the town of Filly.[1]

A tiny population of goats was introduced to the Capital Wasteland shortly after the Great War, after living underground with a small band of survivors, who set up a commune at the hilltop farm ruins. Miles and Jacky dedicated their time to caring for the animals. Still, the residual radiation was too intense for the goats; they died alongside the chickens.[2]

Chop Shop mechanics in New Reno in 2241 say jokingly that T-Ray is "hornier than a four-headed goat" but it's unclear whether they refer to an actually existing creature.[3]

Characteristics

The goats in Filly appear to be identical to their pre-War counterparts.

In the series

The Target

Lucy MacLean sees two goats when entering Filly and looks at them with surprise.

Appearances

Goats appear in the Fallout TV series episode "The Target" and are mentioned in Fallout 2[3], Fallout 3[2] and Fallout 76[4][5][6].
