In the series
These rodents are used by Hank MacLean for his experiments with the miniaturization of the brain-computer interface chip at a Vault-Tec Corporation facility. Hank retrieves the mice from cryogenic livestock storage, and places them in a box decorated like a miniature office. Hank attempts to use the chip to direct the mice into sitting at a small desk with a prop terminal, but the device overloads and causes the mice to explode in a bloody mess. Hank eventually moves on from using the mice and instead utilizes a human test subject, Stephen Winthrop.[1]
Appearances
Mice appear only in the Fallout TV series. Mice were previously mentioned in Fallout, Fallout 76, and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
